Shone & Shown

-one – past tense of Shine.
-own – past tense of Show.

  1. As far as I know, 'shown' is past participle form of the verb 'show', isn't it?

  2. At first, I was simply confused with the phrase 'past tense' because it reffered to quite different forms. So, You meant by the phrase 'past tense' two different tenses: past simple for 'shone' and past participle for 'shown'. Now, it is clear.
