Discreet & Discrete

A very useful one this week, I think. Discreet and discrete.
-eet – secretive, private, careful.
-ete – separate, distinct, apart.
"We kissed discreetly in the dark, then departed discretely."

  1. You know? This is such a simple one and I think I mixed it up...I'm a fail former English teacher.

  2. Don't kick yourself over it, Robert. :)

    1. It means "separate" or "distinct." So the two dudes in the picture are going their separate ways, discrete from one another rather than together.
